Oh MY DAMN!!!!! [Jan. 27th, 2006|09:57 pm]
Hey all!

There was some freaky bad shit going on with my LJ password that took a while to sort out but I'm Back online (yay!)

Ok. School is AWESOME. I've never been so tired or happy like ever. It rocks. I'm learning a lot about myself, and about how much tension I carry. Why did nobody tell me I was walking around like steel cables??? Seriously, I'm in line for $4000 in dental work alone because of the stress related tooth grinding that I've apparently been doing for years.

On the fun side, schoolwork almost made me cry last week (emotional breakthroughs are a really good thing in Acting school). It was awesome, I managed to totally connect with the monologue I've been working with and my delivery was SOOO much better after that I can hardly believe it was me. I figured that I'd be blocked forever and would never get good work when all my classmates were able to connect to things in ways I couldn't even see and finally I got it. Of course, as the universe craves balance, I totally freaked an instructor who forgot I have asthma when she was trying to get me to do some voice work. I couldn't breathe and she panicked. It was really funny because I can control the airflow if I get a second to relax (which I took while she panicked) and then I did the exercise more slowly and all was right with the world. Allthat's left now is to fix my posture and I should be a lot better.

I really love Vancouver. The rain sucks, but when they say it rains a lot here, they mean a lot for BC. We get more rain in Newfoundland in one week than these guys get in a month. It drizzles pretty much every day, but it only really rains like once every 2 weeks, and it only lasts a few hours at a time. It's really pretty here. Lots of mountains (when it's not foggy) and it's really diverse. I'm almost able to understand Chinese and Farci (2 huge languages here). I don't get out to do much. I'm kind of wiped when I get home and I usually have stretching and prep work for the next day. I haven't even been to Granville market yet and I pass it twice a day 5 days a week...

I'm having a blast, meeting lots of great people, and I love school. All in all It was definately worth the pain of flying out here. Now if only I could win the lottery........

Master and Servant by Depeche Mode

"There?s a new game
We like to play you see
A game with added reality
You treat me like a dog
Get me down on my knees"

Yawn, dancing is so boring without a little spice.

<td align="center">Baywatch Hasselhoff

You are Baywatch Hasselhoff. You're up for running around on the beach with hotties, as well as tanning, smiling, and being as buff and sexy as being Hasselhoff will allow. You also like to think that you've actually saved a few lives as a lifeguard; but that's just the product of some other, far more sinister, psychological "quirk."
